Mission Statement<\/p>\n
The Los Angeles Adventist College (LAAC) is committed to teaching the Gospel message to all individuals who are searching for the truth no matter their age, sex, religion or nationality. It seeks to fulfill Christ\u2019s command to “go and make disciples in all the nations…and then teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.” (Matt. 28:19-20). The conceptual foundation of the LAAC is expressed with words of Ellen White as follows: \u201cThe object of education has been revealed in the Law which was given as the guide of life. It is to love our Creator God with our heart, with our soul, with all our strength, and with all our mind. To love Him with our whole being means the highest development of every power – the body, the mind, as well as the soul. It means that the image of God is to be restored.” (Ed. p. 16).<\/p>\n
For this mission, the LAAC has prepared independent education courses which allow students to study by themselves. In further support, the LAAC provides lectures and group meetings as well as instruction by telecommunication and internet correspondence. The LAAC\u2019s specific objectives are as follows:<\/p>\n
To assist individuals seeking an education who may have been limited by barriers of age, lack of financial support, language difficulties or other social and work circumstances.<\/p>\n

To prepare courses for lay training and the revitalization of local churches.
